NukerZ is a piece of playable media. It's not really a game, more of an interactive statement to inspire critical thinking regarding the increasing military spending habits of leaders across the globe.

In the last decades countries are spending more and more on their armies and often investing huge amounts of national funds into military purposes and proxy wars. That money could be spent on supporting public benefits, such as healthcare, education, research etc.

According to the Global Peace Index (p. 41), the average percentage of GDP spent on the military has nearly doubled globally between 2008 and 2023.

While this reaction is understandable and reasonable in today’s political climate, the amount of money spent on getting ready for whatever is about to come is enormous.

I don't mean to criticize countries preparing to defend themselves against the aggressors. It's a critique of the leaders who make them do so. The ones that are impossible to reason and negotiate with.

This project is not meant to suggest a solution, I am not wise enough to provide one. It's merely an outlet for me to address the alarming signs which have been frustrating me for quite a while.
